Mu Noodle Bar in Wilson St. San Juan City

Mu Noodle Bar in Wilson St. San Juan City
There's a lot to do, see and eat here in my beloved hometown, San Juan City. Go straight ahead to P. Guevarra Street, you'll see from left to right restaurants of different cuisine and some are considered hidden gems; turn left to Wilson Street and you shall behold this noodle bar which was introduced to me recently and there I learned that this place puts forward its specialty Chinese Style Noodle Soups. Open daily from 11AM until 2AM. It is called Mu Noodle Bar. "mu" is a Japanese word alleged to mean "Your question cannot be answered because it depends on incorrect assumptions." However, in Chinese language it means "nothing". One would really wonder what is so special about this food establishment and together with selected foodies we came to discover the truth one fine afternoon.

The interior and decor have qualities of being modern and minimalistic. Majority of the materials used are woods especially those that are having black discoloration. The dark walls coupled with strong white light resulted in strong statement, which therefore is a big come on for guests.

Wicked Kitchen is totally SINFUL!

Wicked Kitchen is totally SINFUL!
Have you ever experienced a spell cast over you? There's this wickedly good food establishment in Quezon City near ABS-CBN that has the capacity to place you under its power as if by magic. Yeah, you read it right! It is known as WICKED KITCHEN. It has been sitting there for more than two years I guess. I used to pass by this street in Mother Ignacia and it was just over a week ago that I finally proved how bewitching this establishment is. For those who are not familiar with the location, the landmark is Fitness First ABS-CBN and from there you can easily spot the said restaurant which right in front of it or beside 7 Eleven.
Wicked Kitchen is totally SINFUL!
I thought wicked is synonymous to shockingly bad or scandalous. I was not that totally wrong because at the facade of the restaurant the management has clearly enumerated the other meaning of the said word. This I found truly educational and enlightening. Wicked is actually a slang word which means wonderful; awesome; splendid. masterful; cool. impressive; excellent; fine; superb; outstanding; terrific; fantastic; fabulous; brilliant.

Moonleaf Tea Shop opens in Ortigas Home Depot

Moonleaf Tea Shop opens in Ortigas Home Depot
Moonleaf Tea Shop officially opened its doors to tea enthusiasts and milk tea lovers last March 8, Friday at Home Depot along Julia Vargas Ave. in Ortigas. What sets this newest branch apart from others is the fact that the store could cater guests until five in the morning. As a matter of fact they are open as early as 11AM. This is good news for those who are living and fond of gimmicking around the area. Moonleaf does not just brew tea perfectly, but also created a good venue for some barkada hang out. As of press time, Moonleaf has over 30 branches in and out of Metro Manila.

Moonleaf Tea Shop beverage lineup in Ortigas Home Depot. Basic Tea? Milk Tea? Fruit Tea? Your call! I'm just wondering that they offer limited variants here compared to other Moonleaf shops. Actually, I've tried their branches in Aurora Boulevard and Makati already.

Caffe Bene conquers the Philippines

Caffe Bene conquers the Philippines
Caffe Bene is the newest and the trendiest cafe here in the metro nowadays. I heard and read a lot of raves about this place way before I got an invite for the coffee cupping session held last month. It boasts its medium roast coffee and various menu items that are drool-worthy. Actually, a gelato place as well with a European feel and  prominent Korean touches. Eastwood is accessible to me so and I cannot contain my happiness that this fastest growing coffee shop chain in Korea finally paved its way here in our country, in a location  that is quite convenient for me and for my coffee addict girl friend working at one of the companies in E-commerce Plaza (the tall building in front of Caffe Bene).

For everybody's knowledge, bene means good or well. Say for instance the words benefactor, benefit or benevolence. Caffe Bene's very first store was established in April 2008 in Eastern Seoul, Korea. Since then  it has grown to over 900 stores making it really popular and trending. As of press time it has proven its brand and existed internationally such as in New York, California, Dallas, Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian and now in Manila.

Who would not instantly fall in love in a coffee shop as captivating and classy as this one? A perfect venue for contemplating, me time, doing your reports, blogging, reading and studying. Enough to take your breath away. I love that it has high ceiling, spacious dining area, comfortable chairs and couches and dazzling ornaments like the huge clock hoisted on the wall. The place assures you that you get connected to your social media friends because wifi is free and fast.
